The Lanark Animal Welfare Society is located on Glenview Road, off Highway 43 near Port Elmsley, about 2km west of Smiths Falls.

The shelter is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC DAILY from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
(including Saturday and Sunday)

Important Note: the DOG area is open to the public BY APPOINTMENT only.
Please phone before visiting the shelter to arrange an appointment.

Telephone Inquiries:

A member of the staff is normally on duty at the front desk to answer phones and assist visitors. At such times that they are unable to answer your phone call, LAWS does have an automated phone system that uses a multi-tree system to answer your inquiries or direct your call to the appropriate voicemail for response by a staff member.
