Hi,
I
just
wanted
to
send
along
an
update
on
our
little
guy,
Teddy.
We
adopted
him
back
in
January
2006
and
he
is
still
doing
well.
We
moved
to
Brockville
since,
and
have
a
beautiful
fenced
in
yard
with
an
in
ground
swimming
pool
where
Teddy
likes
to
take
a
dip
with
us
on
hot
summer
days.
We
truly
adopted
a
gem,
and
just
wanted
to
let
you
know
that
he
is
still
in
good
hands
and
living
a
happy
life.
Hope
you
enjoy
the
new
photos
of
one
of
his
favorite
spots
to
be,
which
is
looking
out
the
front
window
and
watching
for
squirrels.
Thanks
again
for
the
great
experience!
Kindest
regards,
Angela

Hello,
Just
thought
I
would
give
you
a
quick
update
on
Ocean
who
is
now
named
"Mojo".
He
has
fit
in
beautifully
and
after
only
1
month
is
completely
house-trained.
We
removed
the
crate
from
the
house
this
weekend,
as
there
is
no
longer
a
need
for
it.
He
received
his
booster
last
week
and
the
Merrickville
Vet
estimated
his
mature
weight
at
around
100
lbs.
He
now
weighs
37
lbs.
We
take
him
everywhere
with
us
and
he
is
so
good...
even
on
Canada
Day
the
parades
and
fireworks
didn't
seem
to
phase
him.
I've
enclosed
a
few
pictures
of
him.
Thanks
again
for
letting
Ocean/Mojo
come
to
our
home.
Sincerely,
Kelly

Hi
Everyone,
Just
thought
we
would
let
you
know
that
Jasper
is
adjusting
very
well
to
his
new
home
and
we
are
really
enjoying
him.
He
is
very
affectionate,
and
we
find
his
'flopping'
to
the
floor
for
rubbing
of
his
belly
cute
and
entertaining.
He
is
quiet
and
well-behaved
and
we
are
encouraging
him
with
toys
for
exercise.
He
had
the
'wind
under
his
tail'
this
morning
and
actually
had
a
little
run
about
the
house.
Jasper
was
checked
out
at
the
vets
Wednesday
and
all
is
well.
She
asked
if
he
was
surrendered
due
to
allergies
of
the
past
owners,
or
due
to
him
having
allergies.
We
told
her
we
would
clarify
through
you,
and
would
appreciate
it
if
you
could
let
us
know.

As
a
LAWS
board
member
I'm
exposed
to
all
the
good
and
the
bad
stories
at
the
shelter.
Little
Pollyanna's
story
was
one
of
heartache.
She
came
to
us
from
a
hoarding
situation.
Born
with
only
3
legs
and
a
possible
immune
deficiency
that
left
her
with
bad
teeth,
her
future
seemed
bleak.
At
the
shelter
she
cowered
in
her
cage
and
wouldn't
eat.
LAWS
is
a
no
kill
shelter,
so
she
would
be
in
a
cage
until
she
found
a
family.
I
already
have
nine
dogs
and
2
cats,
which
seems
to
leave
little
time
and
room
for
another
homeless
soul.
But
the
motto
in
my
house
is
"
What's
one
more?"
So
I
adopted
her
and
gave
her
her
own
bright
bedroom
and
slowly
introduced
the
rest
of
the
family.
After
2
weeks
her
disposition
was
unchanged
so
I
took
her
to
the
vet.
Pollyanna's
teeth
would
all
have
to
be
removed
except
2
on
the
bottom.
The
surgery
went
well.
Still
I
was
skeptical.
Would
she
always
be
feral?
Coming
home
I
again
put
her
in
her
own
room.
I
left
her
a
bowl
of
wet
food,
fresh
water,
a
fuzzy
blanket
and
clean
litter.
I
closed
the
door
leaving
little
Polly
time
to
recover.
I
held
my
breath
the
next
morning
as
I
opened
the
door.
The
food
dish
empty!
I
picked
her
up
and
the
purring
and
cuddling
began.
She
was
not
feral
at
all!!!
Her
unfriendliness
was
all
due
to
the
pain
from
her
teeth.
Poor
thing!
Now
I
am
awakened
each
morning
by
a
soft
meow,
gentle
head
butts
and
a
little
paw
playing
with
my
hair.
She's
hungry.
As
I
get
her
food
ready,
I
feel
nibbling
on
my
bare
feet.
She
gently
bites
(or
should
I
say
gums)
my
feet
as
I
put
the
food
in
her
dish.
This
is
the
start
of
my
day
and
I
wouldn't
want
it
any
other
way.
I
love
her!
I
never
would
have
thought
my
life
with
her
could
be
like
this.
She
is
the
most
loving,
playful,
energetic
cat
I
have
ever
encountered.
And
I
learned
something.
Whether
it's
animals
or
people
sometimes
they
just
have
to
be
given
a
chance.
With
a
little
love
and
patience
you
can
be
given
the
best
gift
of
all.
UNCONDITIONAL
LOVE!!
Melanie
