Shocking Statistics
According to Kim Langholz, a Veterinarian at Iowa State University, in order to provide homes for all of the unwanted or homeless animals, every family of four in North America would need to have approximately eight dogs and twenty cats. This serves as an excellent reminder of the importance of spaying/neutering all pets and why dogs and cats should always be adopted from shelters and not purchased.
