We
wish
to
thank
everyone
who
helped
to
sort
and
sell
and
to
all
who
donated
and
purchased
their
treasures
to
the

which
brought
in
close
to
$1,700
for

However,
we
will
be
reinventing
this

for
the
future
with
the
elimination
of
sales
of

focusing
on

with
the
launching

This
event
is
a
LAWS
favourite
and
judging
by
the
turnout
on
that
day,
the
community
loves
it
also.
Again
I
would
like
to
thank
all
the
good
folk
who
brought
their
dogs
to
visit
us
and
get
pampered.
It
always
amazes
me
how
well-behaved
the
dogs
are
at
this
event.
They're
all
strangers
to
each
other
but
love
to
meet
and
greet
their
peers
with
absolute
politeness,
except
those
wagging
tails
-
they
were
a
little
difficult
to
control!
A
big
thank
you
to
all
sponsors
and
attendees,
you
helped
us
achieve
a
fundraising
grand
total
of
$1037.74.

given
a

Topics
covered
included
Reward
vs.
Punishment,
Reactive

Exercise
and
Leash
Walking,
Canine
Communication
and
more.
The
shelter
is
a
stressful
environment
for
the
animals
and
it's
our
job
to
make
their
stay
with
us
as
pleasant
as
it

It
was
a
great
learning
experience
for
all
who
attended.

If

Arlene,
you
are
our
angel.
Congratulations
to

We
were
overwhelmed
by
the
generosity
of
the
businesses
and
individuals
who
donated
goods,
services,
and
cash
to
the
event.
Thank
you.
It
was
the
donations
for
auction
that
took
us
over
the
top
and
made
the
event
so
successful.
And
to
all
the
people
in
the
community
who
came
to
the
event,
thank
you
for
your
show
of
support
for
the
shelter,
without
your
donations
we
would
not
be
able
to
operate
the
shelter
and
care
for
the
animals
with
the
compassion
they
are
so
worthy
of.
Thank
you
everyone!
Christmas
Day

the
Shelter
Christmas
Day
at
the
shelter
is
like
any
other
day
in
many
ways:
the
kitty
litter
needs
changing,
the
dogs
need
walking
and
of
course
everyone
needs
food
and
water.
But
there
is
a
different
feeling
in
the
air
because
it
is
Christmas
Day
after
all.
And
once
the
chores
are
done
there
truly
is
an
All
Is
Calm
feel
to
the
day.
In
this
safe
haven,
the
hustle
and
bustle
of
life
slows
down
enough
to
allow
us
to
bask
in
the
companionship
of
the
animals
in
our
care.
To
everyone
who
shared
this
day
with
LAWS,
thank
you.
You
all
demonstrated
the
true
meaning
of
Christmas.
