Types of memberships available:

Individual: $20/year.

Senior Citizen: $15/year. (aged 65 and older)

Family: $35/year.

Classroom: $50/year.

Corporate: $150/year

Lifetime membership: Bestowed at no cost to recognize individuals who have demonstrated long-term and significant support and contribution to the shelter.

Benefits of Membership:

Free Newsletter Subscription: Mailed out four times a year, it includes a letter from the President, a shelter report, cruelty report and financial re-cap. The newsletter interesting articles and stories and feedback from the community. There is a "happy endings" section which features a successful adoption story as well as "In Remembrance" and "In Loving Memory" sections. There is also information on current community concerns for animal rights/issues.

Tax Deduction: A tax receipt will be issued for paid memberships.

Voting Rights at Annual General Meeting: 1 Vote per individual, 2 per family.

Classroom and Corporate Members will receive a certificate to hang in the classroom or place of business.

Community Business Discounts and Promotions: Beginning early 2011, a new membership discount program will be launched in partnership with local businesses.

Satisfaction of a job well done: As always, your membership dollars go directly to caring for the animals at the shelter!
