Our Mission Statement:

To promote the welfare of all animals, to provide shelter and care, and to prevent cruelty and suffering for those animals in need.

In 1986 LAWS acquired one acre of land on Glenview Road which has allowed us to stay true to that mission. With the support of our community, staff and volunteers, LAWS continues to do everything it can to provide the best of care possible to the animals that come to our shelter, while also promoting awareness and change in the animal welfare space.
