Well everyone knows this time of the year is kitten season and who doesn’t love kittens? But this month, LAWS would like to feature some of our great teenagers still available for adoption. These great cats have been waiting all winter to find their new families.
Why should you consider a teenage cat?
As the current owner of 2 teenage cats, I can tell you that there is no shortage of entertainment with them around. My Willow and Teddy are full of life and are so fun to watch grow. What I love about this age is that they have the curiosity and playfulness of a kitten, but they are a little bigger is size. That means you don’t have to worry as much about them getting into those tiny spaces or stepping on them (I obviously didn't do it on purpose :). I just love watching them discover new things like catching their first house fly or chasing the squirrel from window to window. Now don’t get me wrong, like all teenagers they have their moments and sure do get themselves into their fair share of trouble (just ask my poor house plants), but overall it is impossible not to smile everyday with these 2 zooming cuties in the house.
If you are thinking about getting a cat and don’t want the work of a kitten but like the idea of having a young cat, please reach out to our amazing team at LAWS to see if we have a good match for you.

This post about teenagers and animals really shows how caring for young animals can teach responsibility and patience in a simple but powerful way. It reminded me of a time at school when we visited a local animal shelter and I felt nervous but excited helping out. During that busy week I had used do my assignment for me to manage my school workload, which gave me time to focus on the experience. It made me realize how small acts of care can build confidence and empathy in everyday life. Nice post, it make me smile.
What an incredible piece — Stanislav Petrov's story is one of those rare historical moments that genuinely makes you pause and reflect. The fact that he wasn't even supposed to be on duty that night, and yet his calm, analytical thinking under unimaginable pressure is what prevented a nuclear catastrophe, is both humbling and fascinating. What really stands out is how his decision went against rigid Soviet military protocol — he trusted his gut and his engineering knowledge over a flashing alarm system, and that instinct potentially saved billions of lives. It's a sobering reminder of how fragile peace can be and how a single individual's judgment can carry the weight of the entire world. Stories like this deserve to…
I enjoyed reading about the teenage animals because it showed their unique personalities and the care they receive. During a semester packed with responsibilities, get help with my Master level class became part of a busy routine while I still made time to support local animal organizations. The post reminds us how important patience and compassion are when caring for animals.
What I enjoy about Celebrity Outfits is the balance between fashion inspiration and practicality. Celebrity looks often seem out of reach, but seeing curated outfit ideas helps make them feel more accessible. It’s a useful resource for anyone who likes exploring modern fashion without overcomplicating their style choices.
