This renovation has not been easy on the LAWS' team and if you've been at the shelter lately, you know what I mean. But yesterday was different, yesterday everyone had smiles and couldn't believe the transformation that occurred thanks to the help of our amazing community.
The LAWS’ Board and Staff would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all of the volunteers from Canopy Growth and the United Way of Lanark County. This team spent their entire day working at the shelter. Because of your hard work, the grounds look absolutely AMAZING!!!
The LAWS’ team spends all of their available time caring for the animals and the detailed tidying up keeps getting pushed to the bottom of the “To-Do” list. But thanks to this amazing group of people, the team is alleviated of some of this stress, and already, it is a much more welcoming LAWS.
A shout out to the carpenters who installed the base cupboards – thank you. What took you an hour or less would have taken us a day . . . maybe more.
On behalf of everyone at LAWS (including our four legged friends), we are truly grateful for your kindness and support. Please know, you have made a huge difference in our lives.
